Your dog starts the morning at day care, heads out for their Group Adventure, then returns for quiet time before you pick them up as normal.

What happens next?
Our Summer 2025/26 Group Adventure season has now wrapped up.
As much as we'd love to spend every day exploring with our adventure crew, Group Adventures work best during the warmer months when the weather is kinder and the days are longer.
We'll be back later this year with another season of adventures, exciting destinations and plenty of wagging tails.

Book through PetBoost and select your usual Day Care drop-off and pick-up times.
The Big Day Out FAQs
What time can I drop off and pick up?
Big Day Out follows our normal Day Care hours. Drop-off is between 7:30am–10:00am, with pick-up between 3:30pm–6:30pm.
How long is the Group Adventure?
Your dog will be away from Day Care for approximately 3–4 hours, including travel to and from the destination.
Every Big Day Out includes a minimum of two hours of adventure time.
Does my dog need to attend Day Care already?
No, but all dogs must successfully complete a Half-Day Assessment for Day Care before their first Big Day Out.
Where will my dog go?
Destinations are published on our Adventure Calendar in advance, so you'll know exactly which adventure you're booking.
Some adventures are off leash, some on leash and some combine both.
What happens when my dog returns to Day Care?
After their adventure, your dog returns to the centre for quiet time and rest before spending the remainder of their day with us.
I have multiple dogs. Can they all come to Day Care if only one is doing Big Day Out?
Absolutely. Your dogs can arrive at Day Care together, your adventurer heads out with their group, and they're reunited at the centre afterwards.
What if my dog isn't suitable for Group Adventures?
Not every dog will enjoy the Group Adventure environment. We'll always prioritise your dog's welfare and recommend another service if we think there's a better fit.
