More Than Just a Walk
Group Adventures combine exercise, enrichment, exploration and carefully matched social experiences beyond the everyday neighbourhood walk.
Small Groups

What happens next?
Our Summer 2025/26 Group Adventure season has now wrapped up.
As much as we'd love to spend every day exploring with our adventure crew, Group Adventures work best during the warmer months when the weather is kinder and the days are longer.
We'll be back later this year with another season of adventures, exciting destinations and plenty of wagging tails.

4. Get Ready for Adventure Day
All dogs must have successfully completed their Half-Day Assessment for Day Care before joining a Group Adventure. We'll also ensure they're suited to the destination and adventure group.
We'll collect your dog from home between 10:15–11:00am and return them between 1:45–2:30pm, with a full report card from their outing.

Wednesday 4th - Guilfoyle’s Volcano
Our Group Adventures and Big Day Out run every Wednesday throughout November. Explore the calendar below to see what's coming up!
Guilfoyle’s Volcano in the Royal Botanic Gardens is a unique on lead adventure with winding paths, elevated boardwalks, and views overlooking ornamental wetlands. Dogs enjoy varied terrain, restful shady spots, and a calm environment perfect for curious explorers. It is visually stunning and offers endless photo opportunities. Great for dogs who enjoy a steady, enriching walk in new environments.
Wednesday 11th - The Warmies
This outing is ideal for dogs who benefit from decompression rather than high-output exercise. The Warmies allows dogs to explore calmly, build confidence through choice, and engage with their environment without overstimulation. Best suited to social dogs who enjoy low-pressure off leash time. Due to the layout, recall requirements are slightly more relaxed for this destination.
Wednesday 18th - Solomons Ford & Thompson St Reserve
Wednesday 25th - Altona Dog Beach
Solomons Ford offers a beautiful stretch of river walk paired with off leash areas where dogs can enjoy short bursts of freedom. The stepping stones add a fun confidence-building element, while the surrounding parkland encourages relaxed exploration and sniffing. It’s a well-balanced adventure that blends guided movement with free time. Best suited to confident, social dogs who are comfortable transitioning between on and off leash environments.
Our most popular Group Adventure destination last year is making its first appearance of the season! With its expansive off-leash shoreline and shallow waters, Altona Dog Beach is the perfect playground for dogs who love to run, splash and explore. From beachside zoomies to leisurely sniffing and refreshing swims, there's plenty of room for adventure. Best suited to energetic, water-loving dogs with reliable recall.
Group Adventure FAQs
How long is a Group Adventure?
A typical Group Adventure runs from approximately 10:15am–2:30pm, including transport.
Pick-Ups: 10:15am–11:00am
Adventure Time: Minimum 2 hours
Drop-Offs: 1:45pm–2:30pm
Adventure times vary depending on the destination, but your dog will always enjoy at least two hours of adventure time before heading home.
How many dogs attend?
Group Adventures are limited to a maximum of six carefully matched dogs.
Where do you go?
Every adventure is different. Some are off leash, some on leash, and some combine both, depending on the destination and dogs attending.
Previous adventures have included Afton Street Conservation Reserve, Altona Dog Beach, Hobsons Bay Coastal Trail, The Warmies and the Maribyrnong River.
Destinations are carefully selected for the experience - not simply the nearest dog park.
How does my dog travel?
Dogs travel securely in individual crates inside our custom-built, climate-controlled van.
Does my dog need to attend day care?
No. Your dog does not need to attend day care to join a Group Adventure.
We may ask your dog to complete a day care assessment before their first adventure so we can get to know them and determine their suitability for the group.
Do I need to be home?
No. We can collect and return your dog using a securely stored key or lockbox.
Is my dog suitable for Group Adventures?
We'll make sure your dog is Adventure Ready before their first booking. Group Adventures won't suit every dog, and we'll always recommend another service if we think there's a better fit.
