Big adventures for dogs who love to explore.
A small-group experience designed for dogs who enjoy getting out and about, exploring new places and spending time with their friends.
From sniffing new trails to enjoying exciting adventures, this is more than just a walk - it's a day out your dog will look forward to.
Does this sound familiar?
🐾 Your dog comes home from a walk still full of energy.
Sometimes an hour-long neighbourhood walk just isn't enough to truly fulfil your dog's needs.
🐾 Your dog was born to run, sniff and explore.
Some dogs need more than a walk around the block. They crave adventure, new environments and opportunities to really be a dog.
🐾 You'd love to give your dog more exciting experiences, but life gets busy.
Work, family and everyday commitments don't always leave time for longer adventures.
🐾 Your dog enjoys the company of other dogs but doesn't thrive in a busy day care environment.
Some dogs prefer smaller groups and more purposeful experiences over spending the day indoors.
🐾 You wish your dog had opportunities to get out and experience the world.
New smells, different environments and novel experiences can be incredibly enriching for dogs.
🐾 You want more than just exercise.
You want your dog to come home physically satisfied, mentally fulfilled and happy.
If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place.
What makes HPWT different?
More than just a walk.
At Happy Paws Waggy Tails, we believe dogs thrive when they're given opportunities to explore, use their senses and experience the world around them.
That's why our Group Adventures are designed to be exactly that - an adventure.
🐾 Small groups of up to six dogs
🐾 Approximately 3.5-4 hours of adventure and exploration
🐾 New sights, smells and experiences
🐾 Carefully selected locations
🐾 Plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore and simply be a dog
🐾 Experienced handlers who know and understand every dog in the group
🐾 Full report card and photos after every adventure
Group Adventures Are Taking a Short Winter Break
Our Summer 2025/26 Group Adventure season has now wrapped up.
As much as we'd love to spend every day exploring with our adventure crew, Group Adventures work best during the warmer months when the weather is kinder and the days are longer.
We'll be back later this year with another season of adventures, exciting destinations and plenty of wagging tails.

Adventure times may vary slightly.
Exact timings depend on the adventure destination and pick-up and drop-off locations on the day.
However, we commit to providing every adventure group with a minimum of two hours at the destination, with most adventures lasting even longer as our pick-up routes are typically completed in under 45 minutes.
Because less time in the van means more time exploring, sniffing and having fun.
A Typical Adventure Day
Step 1: Tell us about your dog
We'll learn more about their personality, social skills and whether they'd enjoy Group Adventures.
Step 2: We'll let you know when adventures are returning.
Join the waitlist and be the first to hear when our next season launches and new destinations are announced.
Step 3: Choose Your Adventures
Before each season begins, we'll publish our Adventure Calendar so you can see exactly where we're heading and when.
You can then choose the option that suits you and your dog best:
🐾 Become a regular adventurer and join us for every outing.
🐾 Pick and choose your favourites by booking only the destinations that catch your eye.
Whether your dog loves the beach, enjoys a bush walk or simply wants to try something new, there's no pressure to attend every adventure.
Because every dog has their own idea of the perfect day out.
Step 4: Reserve Your Spot
Adventure groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of just six dogs, allowing us to provide a safe, personalised and enriching experience for every adventurer.
Because places are limited, we recommend booking early to avoid missing out on your dog's next big adventure.
At this stage, we'll also confirm how we'll access your dog on adventure day. Whether:
🏡 You're home for pick-up
🔑 You provide us with a house or gate key
🔐 You use a lockbox
We'll work with whatever suits your household best.
Step 5: Adventure Day!
We'll handle the transport, exploring and fun.
You'll receive a full report card and plenty of photos, and your dog will come home happy, fulfilled and probably ready for a very long nap.
And fair warning... your dog may start waiting by the door hoping it's adventure day again.

We've used HPWT for individual training, walking and doggy day care, and they have been excellent across the whole journey. Our anxious and reactive dachshunds have come such a long way with their support, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for help or just a fun (and expertly guided) place to walk or look after your dog during the day.
